Went to APR today to get my ecu remapped for the K04.  WOW!!  The best 200 bones I've ever spent...at least in a long time!  Ended up getting the stock, 91, 93, and 100 octane programs.  I'll never use 91, so I think I might give them a call and see how much of a hassle it would be to swap that with the 104 oct file.

Anyway.  While I was waiting, I decided to take some pictures.  Unfortunately I only had my little iPhone 3G s with me.  The dude helping me brought me back to the garage to show me the MK6 GTI VW USA had just given them as a reward for such a nice build/promo at Waterfest.  He was so excited about it.  haha.  It's fun seeing grown men act like little kids in a candy store    I'm not really a hatch guy, but I really like what they did with the MK6, I like it much better than the MK5.  IMHO

not a fan of the wheel scheme on the mk6, but it's looking like it will mod very nicely... that rear end shot is money.

Yeah, I forget what the exact numbers were and exactly how much he said the price tag was, but he said they were able to get in the mid 300s w/ hp and tq for a minimal price due to all the mk6 comes pre-equipped with.  Oh yeah, he said that was on stock injectors too.

Seen several MKVI golfs here in Belgium... I will have to say if I get a new VW ever, it will be the MKVI. It looks so much better in all the areas the MKV fell short on.

LOL, already on that path, just not for car stuff.  You see i have these other expensive hobbies too (drums, home theater equipment, computers), so i'm working on getting those taken care of first.
