So I'm late(ish) for pt this morning and find a gap in traffic to pull out in front of off my street. I lay the pedal down and the 'ole girl sinks her claws in the asphalt and takes off like a cheetah. I comment to myself, "wow, that just might be the hardest she's ever pulled." It was dang near impressive!

Well, I just get through the gate on post and she throws some lights at me. The traction and epc. It also started idling really bad. If a little gas was given, it would idle fine, but it would be limited to about 3k rpm and like 7psi. Ok, so I'm in limp mode. No big deal, I'll just shut the car off, let it reset and then start her up again. It's been the cure in the past, why not now? Tried it a couple times, no change. I figure, ok, well maybe a good hour to reset (while doing pt) should do the trick. Nope.

I got about a block from the parking lot and the thing says, "I'm done with being raped. I'll Idle you home, but if you think I'm going to respond when you hit the pedal...think again bubba."

CRIPES!! I contemplated calling a buddy for a ride, and then I realized that I'd need a ride back just to troubleshoot and crap. So I decided to limp 5 miles home at a whopping 30mph in 5th!!! Needless to say I got pretty good at starting/stopping/shifting without use of a throttle all without stalling

Got home and pulled the code
P0638 Throttle actuator control range/performance (bank 1). From what I read about the code is that likely the tb motor crapped out. Luckily I've got my buddy's 1.8t still being worked on in my drive. He doesn't know it yet, but he just donated some parts
