Approaching the first obstacle I went through the approach and got to the "the slab".

Instead of making the normal hard right and skirting the edge of the slab to up on its side like I (and most people) woul;d normally do I just went straight up it and hugged the left side a bit. I got to the top no problem and apparently made it look so easy my friend was going to try the same approach in his TJ. I was sitting on top of the slab and my friend advised that I back up about 6" with the wheel cranked D.S. (left). I did this, stopped, and started to turn my wheels hard P.S. (right) while shifting from Rev to 1st. In the middle of my shift and with my wheels still hard D.S. my brakes failed and I rolled uncontrollably down the slab backwards. Upon hitting the base of the slab my Jeep was apparently already sideways and it rolled onto the passenger side and then onto the roof.

Time to build a jungle gym and attach axles to it. Too bad it's a unibody, otherwise it'd be a bit easier to build a buggy. Glad to see you're coherent enough to talk though. I hope you didn't smack your head too hard in the roll. Looks like it could have been painful.

I have a pre-fabbed bolt-in "internal" cage lined up to pickup this weekend, I'm getting it for a damned good price. The DOM alone would cost more. Its not exactly what i want but its a good start and gets me going. I also made a bit more progress in stripping off the damaged bits today, as well as further emptying the keg my friend brought over yesterday.

Picked up my cage today, and a set of Rusty's 4.5" coils to drop the front down. Now I have to either add about 400lbs to the rear or get a different set of rear leaves to even things out.

I also took a porta-power to the front and started straightening it out. I'll definately be adding more to the cage and tie it in better with the rest of the jeep. At least it gets me started though, I already modified it to go back to the actual D-pillar. The rear hoop was designed to mount just behind the wheel tub wich left it about 9" short of where I wanted it. Looked a bit goofy when I mocked it up.
