Within a few weeks, Chris had the motor put back together and in working condition. Did a great job too. THANKS CHRIS! I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH

With that done, and the motor running, it was time to get the exhaust done. I'm good friends with the owner of MufflerMasters ~ I dated his niece's best friend in High School (small world) so.....

...I had Mike lengthen the standard 4-1 header 3/4" and then do some fix'n on the collector. Chris put it in, and they attached everything.

As you can see, adding the 3/4" to the headers down-pipe length was about perfect.

Then we used a flex-pipe between the collector and the TechTonics 2.25" exhaust system.

What I like about the TT system ~ and something I've incorporated into all my Scout exhausts is the small glass-pack style resonator.

These allow you to run a less restrictive muffler but still have good sound dentening. Keeps it quieter without as much back-pressure.
Trying to get a good shot at the whole exhaust.

I'll be honest, I didn't like the sound of the muffler I got from TT....so I had the guys at MM remove it....

We could leave it like this!

Na... wanted more of a throaty sound ~ so a 40-series Flowmaster was put in...

Unlike the flow-through design of the TT muffler, this one has baffles to eliminate some of the sound. Still flows great though.
