924 porsche door handles on a mk1

can anyone tell me how to convert the porsche chrome door handles from a 924 to work on a mk 1 VW..

i got 2 sets from junk yards for 6.00 each...

Don't know about 924 handles, but the 944 handle swap has been done and apparently it isn't hard. Search Vortex, I've found threads on that topic there before.

did the 924's you got the handles from have manual windows? i need some of them.

where might i find this place?

well believe it or not...

one set was on a maroon 924 at A1 ($4.95 each)
the others were in the top of a box in back office of best foriegn ($12.00 apir)
