hey guys, we get bored of the same ol thing week after week.. so i was wondering if 719 wanted to do joint GTG once in a while. maybe we can get a group to come down there and meet up for your GTG and the next time you guys can swing up here...

Lol no offense but I don't see that happening..... usually at our GtG's everybody is at least half an hour late saying something to the effect of barely making it out because of blah blah whatever. Maybe we can meet in between somewhere say.... the BDub's on Academy?

a castle rock GtG would be a good compromise between a GtG and a big VW drive.

both groups meet up, hang out for an hour or so then go for a drive, or dinner/drinks or whatever everyone want sto do at that time.

I don't mind the drive up to denver, but I could only really do it regularly once every other month. Same goes for C-Rock. I also wouldn't mind seeing what the Denver crew can show off about their city, and I'm sure they'd appreciate anyplace we take them to here. Who knows of anything to do up in C-Rock?

Where do you guys meet at up there in Denver anyways?

Yeah I was wondering this also. Also we could do one weekend here and the next in Denver.

In the middle sounds cool and all but there is the issue of "What do we do in CR??" Im sure most of the GTG would consist of everyone talking about cars and some crazy stories. I am pretty excited about it, and I know some of would make the trip to Denver.

There's always highway 67 for a short (about an hour both ways) but very fun drive once the sand clears.

also, we would love to host the E719 crew. there are some great mountins to drive through.. maybe an afternoon trip to denver, drive before the GTG could work.. light is always good to see things with. lol.

I am super busy THIS weekend, but next weekend I would be down to go up there. Just depends on what everyone is doing, but I would be stoked! Also next weekend would give me a chance to get the new tires and a balance job on the truck.

Just a headsup, the last 8 or so miles after Sprucewood of 67 is a steep narrow dirt road. It's still fun, but can be very brutal if it's snowed recently.

We did a drive last fall... well I guess in 07. Ask kutark (Lance) what the route was. It was a nice drive and there weren't any dirt roads.

its only 5 weeks... not too far off.

Actually I was thinking about trying to get a spring "thaw out" GTG up anyway. Something in April that we could all meet up.
