well the ticket definitely adds insult to injury (literally). as if the guy getting fucked up wasn't punishment enough.
i recently saw on the news that a woman was being charged with murder because she put her baby in its baby seat in the front seat of her car and the baby was killed when they got into an accident because of the air bag. the women obviously fucked up and pays the consquence of knowing that her actions killed her child. that's punishment enough in my eyes. why spend the time and energy to add even more insult to injury and put this women in jail or probation or whatever.
i see where you're going, and somewhat agree... but IMO law should be law, there shouldnt be any freebies... thats where it all starts... ya know?
yeah she intentionally put her baby in the front seat and got into an accident in order to murder her child. send her to prison cause she's a murderer.
accidents happen.... people fuck up.... doesnt mean it shouldnt go unpunished.
maybe she shouldn't be tried for murder, but definitely wreckless/carless/child endangerment, vehicular manslaughter, or some form of manslaughter..
.. i know/see a lot of parents out there who dont do the most for their child...even my family, sometimes i see carseats a little too loose, hell my wife doesnt always tighten the 5pt harness on my son as much as i'd like to see her do.... i hate leaving them with her family because i worry they'll fuck something up, unintentionall
y, as many people do.... there should be required classes, not because people are stupid, just ignorant..... eager to turn a rear facing seat forward too early.... eager to remove the booster seat too early... etc. my son will be in a seat, and then a booster until he is physically unable to fit in one.
funny... I thought that all cars were required by federal LAW to have warning stickers regarding passenger air bags and car seats...
definitely required, actually my wife just got new visors because one started to peel and there was a recall.... they're more concerned iwth the sticker than a malfunctioning visor.
