I am serious...I am looking for people to start running with me, mainly 2 times a week...

I am trying to get my mileage up by doing two runs at least 3 days out of the week...

I run about 60-65 miles per week currently but looking to be inthe 70 to 80s range....as i prepare for the Bolder Boulder 10k in late may...

My pace is mostly 6:30-7:30 per mile on my OWN distance runs.....BUT i would be wanting to jog (8:00 minute miles or less) and just converse and maybe get a group together for my second run...

garden of the gods, trails, barr trail, streets..whate ver!

just want to gauge interest!

(no smartass comments...)...lol

are you preparing for a 10K, or a Marrathon?

I am going to start going for the 10K's this summer, but damn thats alot of running...

i am stricly a 10k guy..mostly..i do run 5ks for speed and such.

i have 3 weeks more left of base...with one a week track sessions doing 400-800 repeats..then i am moving to mile repeats....pro bably like 3-5 in around 5:10-5:20.

goal for the 10k is sub 32 minutes....whi ch would be great for me at altitude..

my best is 30:47 for 10k at sea level...and that was like 3 years ago....at 29 yrs old..hehe

so you down then to come joggin?

but dont count me out completely...

I hate running for the sole purpose of running, but my wife loves it... Plus, if I get better at running for the purpose of getting better at running (I know), it will help me out on the field, which I have every intention of returning to this year....

Have you ever heard of or considered the Jack Quinn's Running Club? Pretty cool thing on Tuesday nights, downtown....

Where do you run and what time of the day? I dont know how often I would be able to but I need to start runnin more for cardio. Boarding is helping but mountain biking still kicks my rear. This summer I wanna hike a 14'er...

LOS...i run mostly g of gods..but i do barr trail once a week..and then run long runs either waldo canyon....red rocks..or even boulder canyon...
let me know if you want to go like twice a week..i am down..

like i said i will most likely run on my own..then meet up some people or a person or a group..and get my second run in.

14ers are cool.

BUT
i would need a a bunch of meth to keep up with that pace at this altitude and the fact that im out of shape.....

i run two miles at a 7:05 pace so i can stay in the army other then that i hit up the gym for all my cardio stuff but good luck with the running

I am going to pick up some new running shoes sometime nextweek. I may run with you a time or two if you want. I dont enjoy it super much, but I am a pretty good runner.

cool..sounds like a plan...how long and what pace_...again i am just looking for someone to religiously meet me two to three times a week..so we can do 3-4 miles easy conversational pace...and i can get in extra training...

9:30 1.5 mile pace. I could do once a week easily, I have to run Mon and Wednesday mornings. I'll time my 3 mile run tomorrow.

I messed up starting my watch this morning

but from the clock timing I am sayying 25 minutes at a slow pace, maybe down to 23 at a faster pace

i usually never miss consecutive days....and hardly miss even one...but i havent ran a STEP since wed night...i am going today for sure ..just easy..maybe 30 min...

I'm down to go running, I need to get back into it.

I use to be decent, running 17:30 5k, but I was better at middle distance, 1:58 800m. I have no clue how I would hold up now, that was 4 years ago I could do that, and have done very little since

Let me know where and when, I love running in GOG and Waldo. Ever hit up section 16?
