Ok let me get this straight, you don't have a problem with black people stereotyping white people(i.e. Chapelle's "white guy" impression), and neither do I, but you get offended off of common stereotypes of black people(which again Chapelle did a skit of). I don't care about the racial stereotypes that much - it does bug me a little. I guess I was just raised to have more respect for the President of The United States, regardless of whether I like his politics or not.

They are just getting warmed up for when his policies fail miserably. He has not been in offic elong enough for people to make fun of his actions, so they are going for the cheap and easy shots. Kind of like what happens when someone posts a for sale ad on here as post #1... the wolves emerge.

There are so many deals made behind close doors. the Prez gets snap shots of things but rarley gets the time to see all facts. Thus Obama agreeing on more troops in Afghanistan. There are several things he is backing on. Now he has seen the play book so to speak I think his views that he preached are seen different. Hey change is good, And I hope Our countries future gets better, for all the commoners sake. But fuck, judge us if you want. There are wolves, sheep and sheep in wolves clothing. getting offended by something anyone says is an ignorant response.

this is because once offended you act on your emotions and shut out reason and logic, when you reject reason and logic you lose the ability to learn, thus perpetuating your own ignorance. so once offended, it becomes trivial to even discuss the topic at hand because you won't listen to what the offender has to say and you wont learn.

the correct response to 'offensive' material is to ask yourself, and the offending person why. why did they say that? or what has made them believe in such a thing?

only then can you learn about the persons history or moral value and system of beliefs. only then can the two people find a common ground and gain from each others mutual knowledge and wisdom.

only then do you find out that most racist (or offensive 'ism' jokes) are just jokes which carry little to no weight in the offending persons actual beliefs, but instead was in fact just a joke.

This place has always been one that we can joke around with each other on. As long as its meant as a joke and portrayed that way, everyone can appreciate the humor.
I have plenty of respect for the prez... I didn't vote for him, but Im not starting a anti obama website or constantly downing his efforts. Im willin to give the guy a chance, I just dont think all the things he wants to do will work. I seem to recall plenty of bush jokes... but now when the tables are turned and the person you voted for is in office, its offensive? Dont pull the race card...people made fun of how much of a hick bush was ... do you guys remember that pic of bush fishing in a boat with senior on a flooded bourbon street? I bet it wasn't offensive then eh?

Josh Im pretty surprised as alot of the photoshops you have made in the past were funny because some of them were offensive or off the wall. No one on here is racist, we are all having fun amongst friends. I'll be the first to admit I make racial jokes... ALL races... but I tell you what, when the kraut or puerto rican jokes come out, Im right there laughing along.
However what kelly referred to when kyle called me a spic, that was not joking, yet no one really called him out on it but kelly and I. Funny that when someone was TRYING to be offensive and not joking, its passed over.
