Ok, so meet up time is 7:30 am in the north end of the Walmart parking lot. Leave no later than 8:00 am. Don't forget it's a $10 entrance fee this year and bring food/drinks cause shit's expensive there. I'll try and see if I can find my mini grill and have that there. Anyone have a canopy?

well we had a decent showing. I mean nothing like 16 cars or the good ole' days that I wasnt part of, but its getting there. New dude was awesome and as always I had a great time with everyone. I just need to get MOAR work done on the caddy now.

Na, it requires either having the right GLI being clean, or people sucking up their pride and tolerating a beater in their presence.

Hind sight being what it is, I'm actually glad Barry "convinced" me to get the MK5. It sure was nice having working AC up there.

well I had the AC going too, 65x2!! I know I should of fixed teh tie rod, if it wouldnt of been a bitch then the fix would of been only a 5 minute job.

EITHER way... I will do the new transmission and find out which wheel bearing is going before another drive to Denver. I am at least 80% sure its the rear right one.

Dave, don't forget if your going to get a 16v Tranny for your 8v engine... your gonna need a new clutch as the output splines are different

Nah not getting a 16V tranny. The guy told me he has his old 8V tranny chillin. I forgot to post that in my previous thread.

I asked what code it is but he didnt know. Either way should be cool, that whine isnt getting better and changing the fluid every 2000 miles isnt cheap.

haha!! yeah it would be cool to have had all the great water cooled cars parked next to each other.. but heck, the drive from cosprgs to denver isnt easy at 5am.. lol.

maybe we can meet up early for DATR for the 719ers not getting there at the crack of dawn!! lol.

or better yet (dave, this excludes you.. lol) come to vegas with us in June for Wustefest.
