VWOTG is only about 3 months away so i figured we could b/s about a few things.

Are we rockin the sick T's we did last year?

Maybe even set up a thread to see who is gonna make it this year and who isn't. Food and tents. Meet up spot to drive up there together

Also the promotions for DATR. Fliers, stickers,shirts and such. I know its been almost a year but im still rockin www.dubsalongt herockies.com on the hatch.

I know i know its kinda soon to talk about it but what else and i supposed to do with 9.5 hours of free time a day at a desk.

It is a little bit early to think about DATR promotion, but I am glad to see you have it on your mind! I have a few ideas, but I am trying to let the planners do their thing without me influencing them. I am sure they are talking about stuff that I don't know, so I am trying to just be there when they have questions and leave everything else to them. (although I would consider buying a 719/ DATR booth space because it is a great focal point for a BBQ!!)

Unlike last summer, I won't be deployed, so I will be out there pushing DATR with anyone else that wants to push it...

Keep the sticker on your can Brandon... I may have another spot for you to park it this May... with the VR, and a supercharger, one may even consider your car "muscle car" material

Just figured if the tex was discussing VWOTG we could discuss our plans...

I will make sure and bring a cooler this year. I learned my lesson last year buying bottled water for 3-4 dollars a piece. I dont blame the seller for making money i blame me for not thinking ahead.

Chris grilled a mean Brat last year too!

Note to self: Wear sunscreen.

Hopefully this year we will have enough people to fill two e719 tents.

I'll have the little grill there again as well. I'm guessing we'll do the usual meet n drive at Walmart on Academy and 83 at 7:30 am leaving no later than 8:00am. If there's a DATR booth, I'm assuming that those manning it will leave earlier than 8am.

To Scott and anyone else that has an idea for DATR; any input is welcomed with open arms. It is a show for the community and any feedback/ideas given by the community only makes the show better.

I will DEFINITELY be there. I really hope we have a NICE pool pf people going. And just if you were wondering, no AUDIs are allowed in th car show/on the green. SO if you have a VW drive it, if not ride with someone with a VW and take pics.

I missed the show last year and was bummed....

i should quantify this by saying...i'll roll up if i still own watercooled VW. may trade the GTi in on a different brand car. depends on what deals VW can swing.

I'll still have my daughters 67 bug, so wont be completely out of the VW game, just the water side.

Not sure if you guys thought about this, but if you buy a booth space for the show, you could park Audi's at the booth and get around the stupid no Audi rule... I would also invite a few pimped out aircoolers from PPVWC to park at the booth also, it would go a LONG way towards getting the hippies to pay attention!

You guys need to contact the VWOTG show staff for those details, and I am sure it is all money based... more cars/ more space = more money

Anyway someone could find some way of promoting the club on water bottles? I think we should make some money for the club.

I remember paying $4 for water bottles last year. Either way im bringing a cooler this year.

Or something to make the club some money on...
