Yes, I'm an OEM body anything kinda guy. If you don't like the way your car looks, i.e. a plain-jane A4 with non-painted lowers, go buy yourself something that has painted lowers, like an S-Line or USP.

Here's what you can do and should do if you plan on doing anything with the body, a Euro route. This could be OEM or some aftermarket thingy, but it looks right/good. I'm not too keen on VW's any more these days...but I know what looks good still

The carpet price went high b/c of what the stairs required as far as work and amount of carpet. My orig. quote of sq footage didn't include the stairs.

Or you could take Pete's advice.... and stick to OEM + with the Euro bumpers.... Just make sure to stay away from the textured variety, since you will undoubtedly pay more for the rear Euro textured bumper than you paid for the entire car...

Its not a specific coil set or kit designed for a vr or 2.0, its just a set of mk3 lowering springs w/ adjustable perches. This is one of those cheap drop solutions, I doubt there is a difference in the springs, its not a h&r or high end kit. It will be good enough to get you buy till you can find a set of real coilovers if you decide to go that route.

See if you can find a cheap cupkit... it wont give you height adjustability but good ride quality and a good drop. I'll just throw these things on craigslist or put em in the dumpster if no one wants em.
