Yeah got that one, the multiplayer just isnt as good as Halo 3 though,

I need to get with the times. I just finished Halo 3.  ;D

Why rush? enjoy em the games only get cheaper to buy with time, sides you should try Dead Space it wasnt a bad game aside the fact there was a sh*t load of back tracking.

Am i the only non-gamer computer programmer around?

I doubt that "non-gamer" and "computer progammer" belong in the same sentence lol

I see by the people I work with, that they fit in the same sentence when the 'non-' is removed  ::)

... and I look at Brandon's gemertag thread and realize I might be the only active, local member that isn't a gamer.

I tend to be a closet gamer. I don't usually play games, but I want to. I'm usually too broke to keep up with the hardware/games and pay the monthly online costs. Now I just indulge every now and then which keeps me from becoming a serious gamer like I used to be when I was into MMORPGs like WoW, Everquest and Ultima online. Online play with Halo 2 brought back fond memories of LAN parties with DOOM, but xbox live is expensive if you don't use it.

I hear ya. I don't do monthly fees because I will go for months without playing. That's why I've played Guildwars for so long and recommend it to anyone who's looking for an mmorpg but isn't the hardcore WoW type.

I love console video games too but we only have 1 tv in the house and I always feel guilty taking it over since it's in the room we all usually hang out in. I'm not good at them, but I do love to play them. Still rocking the ps2 tho.

Xbox live isnt too bad... they had a sell for 30 bucks for 13 months. Pretty cheap for the hours you can put in in 13 months

I've had it in the past Xbox 1 and it's fun, but I haven't had a chance to budget in the cost as well as allocate the time to play so that I don't waste the 30 or so bones. Really, I'm just not as serious of a gamer anymore. Next game on my list is Fable 2. I'm expecting it sometime around Christmas.  ;D
