Today at around 2pm, my mk4 vr was killed on Circle right at I-25

This asshole in a Pontiac came out of nowhere, across two lanes of traffic (so I never even saw it coming) and right in front of me. I didn't even have time to react so I t-boned him, air bags going off and my dog flying from the back to the dash in about a half a second. Worse part about it is the fact that I just put about 4k into her and now she is dead. So, here is a minute of silence for the black beast's sister.

i think i broke my finger but the dog is ok. just sucks is all, people need to learn how to drive.

he was at fault, even got a ticket for it. Plus I have gap insurance so I should get a new car. I'm just bummed about all the work that was just put into it. Only thing that survived was my new rims since I took them off a week ago. So, if anyone is looking for some black 18's with red lip, hit me up. Same wheels as in my avatar

they towed the car so I am not sure if I will have a chance to part it out but yes, there are good parts. The front end is the only part that was demolished. I would assume the intake is good, the suspension is questionable but is only 2 weeks old, the interior is nearly mint, amp and monsoon are probably ok. one week old tires that might be alright (rear's are good), hella smoked tails, the hid's got killed, stock 16's are most likely alright, rear windows are 2% tint and fronts are 10% all are good, still have stock headlights as well. full size 16" spare tire brand new ( I could grab that tomorrow when I go clean out the car) This car just had a lot of work and money go into it and there are a lot of good parts but I don't know if the insurance company will let me part it or if they will just send it away.

Holy shit dude im glad you are ok... If you want to fight the insurance company on all the work I did I will be more then happy to type up a receipt and vouch for it all. If they want to get picky I can present whatever certifications they may want as well...

Damn that sucks. I went through something similar earlier this year on a jetta, but on a whim I made copies of the receipts and gave them to my insurance agent. You might be able to go back through your bank statements and get the charges against the account printed up to show the purchase. You might even be able to ask the company(s) you bought the parts from for copies of the receipts. Tow companies won't let you pull stuff off in their yard. You have to pay them to tow the vehicle out of the yard to the side of the road to get your parts off. Dumb, I know.

I'm glad to hear that you and the dog are ok. I just wish people would pay attention to where they are going. I've been dealing with a bunch of losers doing dumb shit all day on the roads.
