Is anyone interested in getting together for a drive to the GTG up there? It is a fairly long drive and it would be nice to have some company on the drive and make a scene going thru the small towns on the way up.

I will be heading down Saturday morning in the VRt, and the wife and kid will be following in the 4Runner....

We can meet at the Wal-Mart on 83 and Academy to head out if anyone is interested.

I'm either going to be waiting for the GF to get off fo work or just down the road in Villa Grove at a hippie clay festival drinking and pulling out 1800 deg F pots out of a kiln and sticking them in a bucket of straw when you guys leave. I'll see you guys there for the BBQ and party though.

I wasn't planning on heading out until mid-Saturday. Nothing really starts until 3 anyway and you can't check into a hotel that early.  The 8th st. Wal-Mart would be a better spot to meet though.

I really was going to go, I swear, but my buddy called friday asking for my help in rebuilding the motor in his 62 Ghia. :mrgreen:   By the time we got done and I got home and showered it was 8. Last time I went I got there at 6:15 and nobody was there so I figured it was kinda pointless to go so late.  :roll:

Anyone staying at the hotel? I got a room and the price wasn't too bad. Less then $70. The room has two queen beds...hummmmm ...maybe... :secret:....  :nono:...  :giggle:

Ok, so is there only a few people going to this thing? I figured there would be more people going. You know, actual cat shit going on in this state.....(and I know some of you have to work or have other previous plan...no problem...) this is for the peeps who will be sittin' on thier @sses this weekend not doing anything. Get out and come! It will be a good time. So get out there, Blow the carbon out and Open those old heeps up! Then drink some beer and tell some stories that the next day you'll (1 Wish you never told ...or... (2 Won't remember telling the next day!

 Hope to see some friendly faces out there.
