TT has been doing VW stuff longer than most of us have been alive.  They make quality stuff for a good price - can't go wrong with them.

I have a dual resonated, Borla mufflered TT system on the GTI. I like it a lot.

Does tt make a 3" system by chance?  Im debating on 2.5 or 3 but I figure 3 would be better for my blower apperati

I don't think TT sells a 3 inch system for MK3's.  I do believe if you ask the right person at TT you can get a 3 inch over the axle pipe but you'd still need to fab up the rest of the system.

I think 3 inch would be WAY too much for your car.  I ran a 2 1/2 incher on mine.  Can't see any reason to run a 3 incher on a supercharged car.

Really?  I had that 3 incher on the 1.8T and it worked pretty good. I figured I'd want as little back pressure as poss w/ the blower too or am I wrong in that assumption?  Eventually Im gonna swap to a BVH and some headers... is the 2.5 gonna be good for that set up too?

BUT your 1.8T was a turbo..where the larger exhaust had a lot more effect on how the turbo performed.

3inch would be way overkill

Oh gotcha. The larger exhaust and less backpressure isn't going to cause the blower to spool quicker since its just controlled by the belt.  Makes sense.  That 3" was pretty freakin loud anyways but if it made that big of a difference I was prepared to deal w/ that.
Did you have the one w/ the dual resonators? Will it even make a difference to have 1 vs 2 res beyond how loud the exhaust is?

My exhaust was custom built by that place up on Filmore..

2 1/2 from the cat back with the Magnaflow muffler on the rear.  No resonators.  It wasn't too loud but it did resonate a lot in the cabin

Just go with OEM stock plug wires.  Same thing for the plugs, don't waste your money on the quadruple platinum 23 electrode crap etc
