I had a question. I was told by someone that with the vag-com you can set a APR trial software to stay permanently. I have never heard this before and could not find anything in vortex. Have any of you heard of anything like this?

lol, no.. VAG-COM cannot flash the eeprom.. however with the correct software it would be very possible to copy the flash while its running and then manually make it permanent.. however if you had this knowledge and ability you'd probably be writing your own software and not be stealing it from someone else..

for example I reflashed my comfort module with the values from a euro module and now I can roll my windows up/down with the key-fob.. need the right software and a vag-com cable.
