I havethe money.. I need a car ASAP!! And I just want it to be a vw. I was going to get a 4x4... but I figure I will just stick with the vws for now. Let me know what you have. I need a car bad. call me 719 313 0367

Post this over on PPVW.  Your best bet might be to check out the 'Nickle' or one of those other auto sale rags, those always a few on there.  Craigslist is good too.

Saw a couple of Mk2 GTIs on Denver Craigslist for $1500 or less.

My neighbors had an 84 GTI sitting out front of his house for a year. Runs but I'm not sure of the particulars. Looks decent.

I think your cuz' Ian test drove it. The guys been driving it to work every once in a while, so I think it runs pretty decent now.

Ah...is it white?  If so it had some front suspension issues (control arm bent maybe?? and coolant and oil issues, head gasket??)  Obviously that could all be fixed at this point but that's why he didn't buy it.
