Monkey brains, donkey and camel in Saudi Arabia (1970's).
Dog, Cat, rat and snake in China.
Kangaroo, Ostrich and Crocodile in Australia.
Octopus, squid, eels, barnacles, sparrows, pigeon and wild boar in Spain.
Bear in West Germany, as well as what we called "Chernoble Chicken" in what was then East Germany. Never seen a chicken the size of a turkey, and it was ALL Dark Meat!
Horse in Italy and France (btw, the US supplies Italy and France with over 90% of it's horse meat).
Aligator, possum, armadillo, squirrel, frogs legs, turtle in the US.

Some of you military guys who have been a while might remember this. In the early 90's, the 'scrambled egg' MRE. It had the most bizarre texture. Mix with cheese packet and Tabasco.

I'm not of the "adventurous" palate. The weirdest thing I've had is blackened alligator. I've eaten my share of squid-dried, fried, and boiled, but for some reason I don't think that's weird.

I remember the old dark brown MREs...Ah, the "5 fingers of death"-which I might have seen making a comeback in the newer MREs and the tuna casserole-I've never smelled anything so rank.

Some of mine are the same as other listed, like Alligator, squid, frog legs(love them from the chinese buffet place we go to) but I have also had conch(from the giant seashells) it was not cooked right and was too chewy. But not bad
