I would have serious concerns about that manifold hitting something unless he has solid mounts all the way around...

It is very close to the firewall and raintray... that is why I said that, but he must have solid mounts...

What's with the chain?  Did he just drop that into the car or is he using it to keep it from torquing over and hitting the rain tray?

y brother bought plans to build a spaceship out of vacuum cleaner parts, that thing is probably gonna work!  But Nappy can't even get his cars out of the driveway.

Wait a damn minute!  I just figured it out.  It is his timing chain, you can see where he is about to put it on.  Sorry for the confusion.

nice call, it is a 16v so its a good conversion since they are interference motors, probalby cheaper since you can buy bulk "timing" chain at homo depot

thats a vw motorsport valve cover, not custom

$$$$$$ and then trying to find one, i saw one go on ebay for 500 bucks
