Sad thing is it DID change, Audi's were in the past always welcome, that is untill 2 years ago when the hippies that put on that show got too strong a whiff of their own patchuli and over carburated exhaust fumes!  Oh well, even air cooled peeps can be full of themselves

Yes I remember this.  But if I remember correctly it was only for one or two years.  It wasn't something that was always allowed and then they stopped doing it.

There is enough tension between the Aircooled and Watercooled factions of VW groups in my experience, the VW shows in the MidWest were 95% Aircooled and we felt very little love being at there shows and I never saw an Audi at one of em.. Its not just VWOTG its how most of the AirCooled shows are, they make us try to feel lucky that there even allowing waterdubs.

I am on a oah so tight schedule, I am trying my best to be ready by VWOTG.. Was planing on fireing it up this weekend and drive it around but now I have a Funeral to be at on Saturday in bumfuk kansas... I knew something would come up

Sad to hear some vdub haters are joining the "hater clubs" that stink it for true ALL LOVE FOR VW/AUDI's. I respect There rights hell I have been fighting for their right to exclude me for the last 12 years.... Uh, I have a feeling that there won't be any armed guards blocking non-VW cars at the gate. You can cruise to the show, you can go in the show, you just can't SHOW at the show. Oh no, a lost opportunity to have a cheap plastic plaque.

I don't think so. I have a feeling that if we roll up to the front gate, we will be told to screw off and go park in the spectator parking. Guess who's working the gate? Lance 

I say we all roll up in our Audis to the spectator lot, line up in a big row and it will be like having two shows, the aircooled, and then the chill Audis owners

Aw German boy-- It is a really cool show, Cool cars- and generally good folk. Granted, it was much cooler when they did'nt exclude Tha Oodie's- saw my first Allroad in person at a Dub's on the green show waaaaayyy back. It was at its best when it was at the comm. college tho- Air cooled cars are as good as any classic car, some of the owners don't even smell of that retched patchuli shite.

I meant ya, you could park in the spectator lot and still attend the show. I didn't mean go in with your cars, I meant walk in. You all make it sound like there will be a security detail that will only let VWs get within 2mi of the show. I just find the amount of bitching and whining because a Volkswagen show only wants Volkswagens funny.
