So I wonder if the tools will oust all of us rollin the 4 rings again, or if they got it figured out. I'd roll the GTi, but fast as fast may be- it still looks like shit. Rather roll the S.

It has already been announced that Audi's aren't welcome on VW Vortex.  I don't think that is ever changing.

All of you guys getting upset about the Audi thing.. there's no point in getting upset because they don't care.  I'm not sticking up for the organizers in any way as I think it's stupid too.  But you have to remember this show has it's roots in the air cooled VW scene and for the most part is entirely controlled by strictly air cooled enthusiasts.  I don't think they really give two shits about Audis or even know that they are in the same family.

Actually its not that Im tryin to save money for a better deal. Im broke right now and I dont have the $ for the mounts until george bush pays me.  Everytime I go to order them shit comes up... this month wouldn't work either since I have my dads birthday present, a friends wedding which Im in so I need to pay for the tex, my car registration.. . shit just keeps addin up. Bush hurry the fuck up!

Sad thing is it DID change, Audi's were in the past always welcome, that is untill 2 years ago when the hippies that put on that show got too strong a whiff of their own patchuli and over carburated exhaust fumes!  ;) Oh well, even air cooled peeps can be full of themselves  ;D

Yes I remember this.  But if I remember correctly it was only for one or two years.  It wasn't something that was always allowed and then they stopped doing it.
