I just called Avalon Motorsports and they told me it is August 24th at Pikes Peak Community College... so I will get that on the website this evening.

Seriously??!! You called a sponsor to find out when your (your as in our as in E719) show is? That's very sad. What happenned to the DATR crew? This thread has been around for awhile with none chiming in. They were so gung ho, then they got their own private forum and I haven't really seen or heard anything since...

DATR is not Edition 719's show.  Never was.  It was always put on with some help from 719 but the actual event - DATR has always been a separate entity.  In fact DATR existed before Edition 719

Somebody did ask, 3 days ago. And got zero response. And now, someone 'in the know' apparently has responded and yet the question still isn't answered.

Scott, I was unaware of the DATR history. Isn't the show only like 4yrs old or something? I distinctly remember the E719 | DATR convo earlier in the year, but still thought that the show was concieved here and by the core 719 folks and was largely put on by 719 folks, which in my mind makes it primarily 719's show. If there was no 719 input, there would be no show, so they aren't totally seperate entities.

I actually searched for it and could not find it... and I would think that this many people askimng the exact same question might warrant an actual answer not just crickets chirping....

the op used to live with one of the planning committee members so he shouldn't act like he's so out of the loop.  as of right now we have a date and location.  there are a fuck ton of other details that we're currently working out.  when real verifiable important information comes up we'll let everyone know.  i promise.  ;D

Nemisis, honestly the whole timeline of shit didn't really stick in my mind the 1st time around. And I do not care enough to drag it all up again. Consider it a moot point.

Punkrider, if there's certain areas you need help with, let the general 719 public know. Many people can't volunteer to commit to a regular thing, but could most likely throw you a bone if you need little stuff done. Hooray for delegation.

Nate, here is my little tidibit of wisdom for today....

People do not read shit unless it is posted about 52 times.  When someone asks for the date of your show... the show you are busting your ass to put on, you give a positive upbeat answer qith all of the info they could possibly need. By doing that, you give them the ability to give that answer to the next person, and the next person and so on.  GIving that wisecrack above did nothing for anyone, and failed to actually answer the question.  It doesn't matter who lived with who, people forget stuff... ALL THE DAMN TIME!!!

Just happily answer the question, and drive on! The more times and places that info is put out, the better your odds that is being told to others.
