I just got a 91 GTI and I need some miscellaneous crap to make it a little nicer and more complete.

I need a grille. Single or dual round, doesn't matter.

1 drivers side banana light or the light in the fender. Not sure if these are side specific.

I need the bumper clip that goes on the fender. Also for the drivers side. Also not sure if this is side specific.

I need a rearview mirror for the windshield. Also if anyone has the glass for the outside mirror, one of mine is pretty toasted.

Suspension- Lowering springs preferred with struts and bearings etc. Basically a bolt on setup would be ideal as everything is bad on this car.

Anybody got any steel braided brake lines they don't need???

The last thing is free. Any ideas on how to remount the front bumper when all the clips on the cover are broken. Preferrably a way that is not seen.

This car has been a pain in the ass from the beginning. The guy traded me for it and said all he did was arc the battery. Just a fuse or something easy. NOT!!!!! Had to put a new ECM in it and then the timing was way off so I timed it only to find out the timing belt wasn't put on correctly. And now it is just the little stuff. I need suspension REAL bad. But the dipstick funnel was broke-$2
It was missing the clip for the throttle cable so I had quarter throttle-$1. All in all I have only spent like 500 on it and most of it was parts.

The last thing I want is everything required to convert it to a non-AC car. Pulleys, bracketry, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Anything that is reasonably priced I will buy. Anything free I will take. Anything you want to trade for, as long as I have something you may want, I will trade.

my bumper is held on by a single bolt that's hidden behind the front license plate. you can get the side bumper mounts from the dealer for cheap if you can't find them else where and no there isn't a separate left and right piece.

Also forgot to add that I need the lenses that go in the bumper also. And if anyone as all the stuff needed to put in foglights ie. bracketry and fogs I need that too.

Rear View Mirror
Side Mirror
Have struts and springs , Neuspeed springs, not sure what the struts are.
Have fogs and brackets but haven't looked at what shape they're in.
Might have the bumper bracket, I'll have to check.

Yes, I am interested. Where are you located at? I may be able to come take a look this weekend. Gotta look at houses on Saturday but maybe in the morning on sunday?

Perhaps. Depends on where you live and what time. I'm supposed to go look at houses but if you live up here then it won't be a prob. Up here meaning in Denver. On the North side for all my gangsta's!

did you get one from checker? believe it or not they show you whats behind you just as well as the one that your car used to have. what do you think was in that rocco you stole from dave? You know, the one you then got tired of and sold a month later. you remeber that?

What rack are you talking about?

Which side mirror do you need? I have both. I have the bumper clip that goes on the fender (two of them that I'll throw in). The springs are Neuspeed race springs with Apex Sport struts (and everything to bolt them on). I have one bumper lense that I'll throw in too. I have the fogs and, I think, the brackets. Not sure if they work or not? You can have those too.

How's $125 for all of it sound? (basically that's for the struts and springs and I'll throw the little stuff in for free).

Scurvy has the parts. I found the tranny mount and bracket. I also found a driver's side banana light and threw that in. Let me know if you need anything else.

I actually forgot to ask you if you had an ashtray. If you do I will be cruising through the springs on my way to Durango in like 2 weeks and that would be awesome. Thanks for all the rest of the stuff and I can't wait to start installing all of it.
