This is an older one as well, but it is one of my favorite shots I've ever taken.

I was testing a lighting setup in my basement "studio" as I had a few people coming over for some shots. The lighting was a softbox camera right and an umbrella behind and to the left of the Wookie. I was experimenting with some rim/hair lighting. I only have 2 strobes so I have to try to make the most of them.  8)

I love my strobes. I need a portable power supply now. The only real disadvantage to strobes is the power issue when on location. I just ordered a new big softbox, which should get here this week so hopefully I'll get the chance to shoot some with it this week.

BTW, nice VW shot. I like the color.

Anyway, here's something recent.

So here is my attempt at a photo.  I don't have fancy gear or fancy talent...just a digital camera.

Love the concept, not the lighting. I think we all want more pics of your niece!

Thanks guys.

fotograf - the lighting was all natural light coming from a screen door. I didn't have all of my equipment, but I liked the natural light look. Perhaps I could have lightened the left side a bit, but I just like the feel of the lighting.

I'll try to post some of the others I've edited later.
