I know getting 719 to journey beyond the county lines is almost impossible but I want to let all of you know about this if you haven't heard. The Denver crowd is planning to head out there and more from Colorado is always a good thing. This should be enough time for you ladies to get things sorted out and decide if you're going to do this or not.

Would be no more than a 9 hour drive from the Springs and that is taking it nice and easy.

The event organizer is working on setting up a hotel so it looks like things are moving along nicely. And I just read that a few from the Lincoln area were at DATR this past year so why not return the love?

You're looking at more like a 7 hour drive.
I've drove this route a hundred times.
Doesn't matter much anyway, most of you can't muster the energy to drive across town to a GTG or a group drive on a Saturday afternoon.. let alone drive 7 hours

Well my mom lives in Yutan, NE. Its a small town just past Wahoo, NE. Yeah, lame isn't it. Anyways, its like a 30 minute drive from Lincoln to her house so pending I don't have some Army BS come up I'll be going. Most likely in a JEEP as I sold my Rocco and my 78 RabbitC doesn't run.

I definitely encourage you guys to do it, I am heading up with the Union group and you guys can tag along with us if you want, but we will be obeying the rules of the road. You will need to arrange hotels now, as in the next week or two as there is also a hot rod show the same weekend and most hotels are booked. Or you guys can camp out too.

I don't need a hotel, I'll just stay at mommy's.

I do need another 719 sticker though, two to be exact. Although I might not put on my car as I always seem to get rid of it shortly after putting them on.
